Stars
Stars are like "likes" - they show appreciation for a post.
- Click the star icon on any post to star it.
- The author will be notified when you star their post.
- Star counts are visible on post cards and post pages.
Bookmarks
Bookmarks let you save posts to read later.
- Click the bookmark icon to save a post.
- View all your saved posts at /saved.
- Only you can see your bookmarks.
Comments
Engage with posts through comments.
- Scroll to the bottom of any post to see and add comments.
- You can reply to other comments to create threaded discussions.
- Authors are notified when someone comments on their post.
- You can edit or delete your own comments.
Image Gallery
Manage all your uploaded images in one place.
- Access your gallery at /gallery.
- Upload images by dragging and dropping or clicking to browse.
- Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP (auto-compressed to max 2MB).
- Copy URL to use images in posts or elsewhere.
- Delete images you no longer need.
Tags
Tags help organize and discover content.
- Click on any tag to see all posts with that tag.
- When writing, add relevant tags to increase discoverability.
- Popular tags are shown on the home page sidebar.
Search
Find posts by title, excerpt, or content.
- Click the search icon in the navigation bar.
- Type at least 2 characters to search.
- Results update as you type.
Notifications
Stay updated on activity related to your posts.
- Click the bell icon to see your notifications.
- A red dot indicates unread notifications.
- You'll be notified when someone:
- Stars your post
- Comments on your post
- Replies to your comment
Dark Mode
Toggle between light and dark themes.
- Click the sun/moon icon in the navigation bar.
- Your preference is saved automatically.
Install as App
LFranca works as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
- On mobile: Use "Add to Home Screen" from your browser menu.
- On desktop: Look for the install icon in your browser's address bar.
- The app works offline for previously viewed content.
